Hi, how much in total you spend in 9D8N in Beijing? What is the temperature during the time you visit?
Hi Jeff! About US$1.5k for 2 person for the ground transports, food and attractions admissions. Flights and hotels cost excluded. It was one of the warmest winters when we were there in Jan it was around 0 °C Celcius instead of below 0 °C.
wow~ ur itinerary in Beijing is so awesome ^^
Thanks for sharing
Thank you! GLad you enjoy it!
Lovely place and lovely pictures!
Such an awesome trip you had, Allison! Beijing seems breathtaking! What time of the year is best for visiting it?
If you plan to do a lot of sightseeing, Spring and Autumn are probably best times to visit. Just remember to avoid the Chinese national holidays as all places in Beijing will be extremely crowded.
Wooo, this is so informative.. Can i know how and where to book for the ground transport? How much it charge?
E.g. to the Greatwall..
You can try to contact Jessie which I used on this trip

I was just in Beijing and have never seen such a crowd in a subway. It. Was. An. Experience
Great read and pics!
Mick 🙂
Hi Mick! Thank you for your kind words. The Beijing subway during peak hours are quite an experience for sure!
Thanx, very helpfull!!! Looking forward to visit Beijing!!!
May i know would it be a crowded or peak period for end of May to early of June?
Nice weather?
Thanks
Beijing is always crowded except for winter. You just gotta plan your trip well by going to those famous sites really early, such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. May and June should be okay but getting hotter into the summer.
I am planning to go Beijing on coming May 2018. I am hesitating to go for Free & Easy or by Ground Tour. My concern, is it convenient to walk around by going free & easy? Please advise me as I know nothing on Beijing.
Hi Den! Depending on your comfort level, if you don’t speak the language and might easily get overwhelmed by navigating, ground tour might be a better option for first timer.
Hi, such an informative blog!
Do you think beijing is conveneint for elderly and baby? Or what is your advice and suggestion? Really appreciate it.
Nice blog of Beijing, it reminds me of the Ming Tombs, Emperor Yongle selected his burial site and created his own mausoleum here.
I tried to write a blog about it, hope you like it too: https://stenote.blogspot.com/2018/10/beijing-at-ming-tombs_28.html
Thank you! Glad you like Beijing too
