Brulee Brasserie is a small lil cozy cafe located at the retail section of the Casa Tropicana Condo. Opened since mid last year, this cafe had recently launched a brand new menu with some fun and creative 10″ pizzas. Nasi Lemak, Super Mario, Pesto Cavier, Big Breakfast all on pizza, are the standouts listed on their new menu, with the most expensive ones only going for RM15.

We had the Nasi Lemak and Big Breakfast as the owner, SL recommended them as their signatures pizzas. When the pizzas came out fresh and hot from the kitchen, my first impression was that the portion was large, well at least larger than I’d expected from a RM11-15 personal size pizza. The pizza crusts were thin and extremely crispy which I really like. I thought the Nasi Lemak pizza was a good fusion pizza but I like my Nasi Lemak really spicy so it might be down to personal taste. As for the Big Breakfast pizza, it was a hit! Even Big Teddy said he would come back for this big breakfast alternative, where all the ingredients (pork bacon included) were all spread on the very thin and crispy crust. It was a good combination I’d say, and definitely a good brunch option.

We ended our brunch with the Green Tea Creme Brulee, a thick and creamy dessert specially made in house. I’m a green tea lover (I had a green tea latte for this brunch too) and would love this cream brulee better if it was less bitter, but overall it was a good dessert. Also, there are still other 11 different flavours varied daily from cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, salted caramel, lemon, lavender, mango, vanilla, passion fruit, red tea or, raspberry.

Thanks to the Brulee Brasserie team for having us and for those who are
staying at Casa Tropicana or around Kota Damansara, do give this lil
cafe a try. We will be back for Big Breakfast pizza and perhaps will try
other ones the next time…
