Best Restaurant in Krabi – Melati Restaurant at Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort (now known as Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort)

Malati Restaurant was our favourite place to dine during our stay at Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort (now known as Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort). It is an ultra chic restaurant located by the beach inside the resort. They serve Thai and Indian cuisines which blend extremely well together. We enjoyed everything that we ordered there. The Thai Prawn Cakes topped our favourite list and we ordered it twice when we dined there. I think we ordered more Indian than Thai when we were there but who doesn’t enjoy a good Indian anywhere anyway. The price was on the high side but portions were quite generous. We spent THB2,416 and THB2,018 for 2 dinners there even after 30% discount. However, that was mainly due to the many beers that Big Teddy ordered. Service was slightly lacking although the restaurant was not busy during our visits there.  Nonetheless, the food was fantastic and we were happy after a few rounds of cocktails or beer. That’s what holiday is all about, isn’t it?
