London 114 – British Museum

British Museum is one of the best museums in the world dedicated to human history, art, and cultures since 1753 with over 8 millions works in collection. We went there on a Friday evening when the museum opens until 8.30pm every Friday. It was much quieter then without too much crowd but the place was still too big for us to cover in one evening. We went straight the Egyptian Gallery as this museum has the most comprehensive collection of Egyptian antiquities outside of Egypt. I was very trilled to explore my 1st mummies experience and was happily hopping all over the place. I was in awe browsing through their Egyptian, Roman, Asian and African Galleries, and wished I had more time to check out their collections in detail. This is why I love London as most of their great museums are free, and the amount of hard work they put in to keep the museums at top notch conditions. I’m definitely looking forward to revisit the British Museum again~!
