Our last stop for the island half day tour was Stanley Market, which is a famous street market in Stanley on Southern of Hong Kong Island. It is a typical open air market which sell everything from Hong Kong souvenirs as well as clothing, particularly traditional Chinese dress and silk garments, toys, ornaments, luggage, souvenirs, paintings, and Chinese arts and crafts. Its a good place to bargain but the prices were not exactly cheap, and after so many of shopping, so I was not easily pleased with the selection at Stanley Market as I find most of the stuff there were overpriced for their “Made in China” tags. Still I got myself a huge soft tote for HKD60 for casual shopping.
