Shopping Cart 141 – Christmas Comes Early with Sephora Pop Out Store Blockbuster Palette 2012 and Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Starter Kit

Christmas Comes Early with Sephora Pop Out Store Blockbuster Palette for only RM159! This year Sephora brought us this lovely Pop Out Store Blockbuster Palette which contains:

– 64 x waterproof eye shadow

– 12 x longwear cream eyeliner

– 6 x eye top coat

– 6 x lip top coat

– 48 x lip gloss

– 3 x blush

– 6 x multi-purpose cream for eye, cheek, and lip

– 3 x multi-purpose luminizer

– 3 x makeup brush
– Mirror
I bought this lovely palette for my sister, hopping that I could use it myself on and off. The colors are just too much for one person and I doubt anyone could ever finish using everything. One thing bad about this kind of palette, we don’t have the heart to use it. Nonetheless, for the price of RM159, this is definitely one of the most value for money palette this Christmas season.

As for my own Christmas present, I got this Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Starter Kit for RM355. This set contains:
– 0.17 oz HD Microfinish Powder
– HD Kabuki Brush
– 0.5 oz HD Microperfecting Primer
– 1.01 oz HD Invisible Cover Foundation

According to Sephora, HD Complexion Starter Kit
features three must-have HD Complexion products paired with an HD
Invisible Cover Foundation shade of your choice. For prepping the skin,
HD Microperfecting Primer is a lightweight oil-free formula that
minimizes the appearance of pores. Cover imperfections with HD Invisible
Cover Foundation to invisibly camouflage flaws while nourishing the
skin and protecting it from dryness. Finish with award-winning HD
Microfinish Powder, a 100% mineral silica formula that adds a soft-focus
effect to the complexion. Apply it with the HD Kabuki Brush to create a
truly perfect finish.
I love the HD
Invisible Cover Foundation (RM165 on its own), the coverage is good and with only 2 pumps is sufficient to cover my whole face. The HD Kabuki Brush is the softest ever brush I’d tried. It is perfect for application of loose powder. I think I might get really addicted to Make Up For Ever’s products…
