The month of Ramadan, the fasting month for Muslim all over the world, means lots of Ramadan exclusive buffet dinner all around town. So when we were at Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside 2 weeks ago, we got to try their version of Ramadan Buffet, Bazaar Feast By The Lake. It was an opened air set up by the hot and humid lakeside, priced at RM100 nett per adult and 50% off for children between
6-12 years old, with more than 100 varieties of
authentic “Kampung style” Malaysian delicacies. I’m not really a buffet person so I made a quick tour around the place checking out the food selection. I had my eyes fixed on the Satay, Nasi Biryani, Beef Rendang, Roast Lamb, Roti Canai and all thing spicy. I liked the satay but not their satay sauce, loved the biryani rice but found the rendang too oily, roast lamb was tender and my favourite was the Roti Canai surprisingly, as it was such cheap food usually found in the Mamak but I had to say theirs were actually quite good. Overall, there were too many food to choose and I had too tiny stomach to sample even 1/3 of them. Some food were good like the satay and Roti Canai but some were just misses. Too bad I didn’t get to try their dessert counter but I was told there were no ice cream so I don’t think I’d missed much. Would you go all the way to Putrajaya for a buffet dinner by the lake? I know I won’t…
