Renoma Cafe Gallery Bukit Bintang opened last September is Renoma first F&B outlet outside of Paris. For those who has no clue about Renoma, Renoma was established since 1963 by revolutionary Fashion designer,
Maurice Renoma, which offers a trendy label with a wide range of fashion
products from menswear, leather bags & accessories, men’s &
ladies’ shoes, inner wear etc.  

Last week was my first visit to the restaurant located along the main road of Jalan Bukit Bintang (the other end of Bukit Bintang, across Prince Court Hospital), after collecting my Japan Visa from the embassy nearby. The restaurant was quite empty and we were the handful of tables during lunch hour.

I
absolutely loved the Salad with Crispy Duck Prosciutto, Baby Octopus,
Poached Egg and Button Mushroom Confit. The combination of baby octopus
and poached egg especially made the dish oh so delicious.

Next up the main course, Pulled Beef Short Ribs and Fettuccine with Bulgogi Infused Sauce Bordelaise was absolutely heavenly too. Although it was a little salty but I still loved the texture of the fettuccine and the pulled beef short ribs in every bite. M loved her risotto too, she said it was relly good.

Last but not least, the dessert sampler which comprised of green tea cream brulee, cheese cake, panna cotta and biscuit. I thought the green tea cream brulee was the best, followed by the panna cotta. The remainder two was just alright for me. Overall, the lunch was really good although the price for the set lunch is quite expensive (all in was about RM45.25 excluding drinks). I wouldn’t mind splurging once a while, and Renoma Cafe Gallery will definitely be one of the places on my list to splurge.
