Food For Thought 205 – Tai Lei Loi Kei (澳門大利來記豬扒包) @ Hutong Lot 10

I was at Lot 10 today having brunch before we headed out to Pikom PC Fair at KLCC Convention Center. It was a total coincident that I discovered this new stall at Hutong, Tai Lei Loi Kei (澳門大利來記豬扒包), which apparently only opened for business since April 10th. Unfortunately my sister and I had already ordered our food before we saw this new stall, hence we decided to return to Hutong after we were done with PC Fair. At 5 something in the evening, we managed to head back to the food court and ordered the famous Signature Pork Chop Bun set (RM12.50) and Macau Curry FIsh Ball (RM5.90). 
Tai Lei Loi Kei (澳門大利來記豬扒包) is the famous cafe at Taipa Village of Macau since 1968 and it has been serving the Signature Pork Chop Bun everyday to thousand of people. We didn’t get to try it the last time we went to Macau so we were glad that we had the chance to try it in KL instead. 
Their Signature Pork Chop Bun was fried with their special marinate sauce, absolutely tasty and juicy in every bite. Serving was big although I still think the price is a little high for a piece of pork chop and 2 pieces of bread. But I’d still recommend it to others…
However, the highlight for me was the Macau Curry Fish Ball, it was so good I think I could get addicted to it very easily! The curry was thick and spicy, so delicious til it left me wanting more. It wasn’t cheap though for 5 pieces of fish ball for RM5.90, but I certainly would want to come back to try their other food on the menu like the Supreme Pork Chop Noodle and their Macau desserts. What a pleasant surprise discovery of a new yummy eatery in KL~!
