After a long walk along Rat-U-Thit Road, we turned to the beach front road, Thavee-wong Road and ended up at this beach front restaurant and bar, Baan Laimai Restaurant & Bar for some much needed liquid replenishment and we were drawn to the live band singing some pop songs when we were walking past the restaurant and bar. It is actually a resort’s restaurant with a beach front view and alfresco setting. The cocktail prices were alright for a hotel bar, but they turned out tasted bland and “no kick” at all. Since we got a buy-one-free-one happy hour deal so we were not complaining. The live band was quite good, we were quite entertained until they started singing some oldies. We then moved on to the next drinking spot, Soi Bangla….
