Beijing 120 – He Hua Shi Chang (荷花市场)

He Hua Shi Chang (荷花市场) consists of Qian Hai (前海) and Hou Hai (后海), which better known for its extensive restaurants, shopping outlets, pubs & bistros, both day and night. I went there for a walk at night and returned the next morning to get to Gong Wang Fu (恭王府). I was very excited to see the vibrant night light, as well as the beautiful Hu Tong (胡同) scene in the morning. They even had a very antique looked Starbucks outlet here. I found one interesting shop that was selling matches box sets with cute quotes for RMB20. Some of the other items were selling at super expensive price so one must be ready to bargain here. However, beware of the Trishaws in the day time as one might pay a ridiculous price for a short trip around the area and Hu Tong (胡同) of Qian Hai (前海) and Hou Hai (后海). The asking price would start somewhere at RMB180 but one should be able to get a final price as slow as RMB40 after a long bargain.
