Phuket 104 – Jungceylon & Patong Rat-U-Thit Road

After dinner, we walked along the busy Patong’s Rat-U-Thit Road. First stop was Jungceylon, the biggest shopping mall in Patong, where we stocked up some Boots’ products and essential sunscreen. We took a short walk inside the mall, but found it was nothing much interesting to all these mall rats like us. They have Boots, Hann, Dtac Mobile (which I bought a iPhone SIM card for THB289 for 1GB data for 7 days), Swensen’s, Häagen-Dazs, Big C Supermarket, some sport shops etc etc…

Jungceylon – Looks impressive outside but nothing much inside

I wonder what were they looking at?
The Four Faced Buddha – A must have in Thai’s buildings
Across Jungceylon they were some boutiques but extremely overpriced, even much more expensive than KL’s price. We started to doubt about the shopping in Phuket….

I like the colourful building – Just the building
Tattoo anyone?
We walked another kilometer or so to this supposedly good night market but didn’t go in as the crowd were so few and we got turned off by the ‘bangla’ people manning the stalls instead of Thais.

Patong Otop Shopping Paradise? Nowhere near a paradise for us!

Hard Rock Cafe was just at the end of Rat-U-Thit Road with live band playing

My friend always very excited to see this mobile minivan bar ever since she saw lots in Bangkok

Salad that rock your world? Too bad it was closed and we didn’t get to try how salads could rock our world…
