London 119 – The Goat Tavern @ Kensington

After our visit to the Kensington Palace, we stumbled upon this EnglishThe Goat Tavern at Kensington. It is established since 1679,  and known to be the oldest pub in Kensington. Since we were still full from our heavy snacking at Borough Market (previous post here), we ordered a few snacks to share. The Pulled Pork Nachos (£10.99) were the star of the night with slow cooked pulled pork dressed in their 1730 BBQ sauce. It was so good that I had cravings for it few days later and went to another pub under the same chain just to eat it again. The other side dishes, Chicken Wings (£5.69) and Onion Rings were alright too. Overall, it was a good English pub experience in the posh part of London, and I was just getting started with all the new beers that are not available in Malaysia…
