Umeda Sky Building and its floating Garden Observatory (梅田スカイビル空中庭園) built in 1993 are the famous observatory site where you can enjoy the sky and panoramic views at the 40th floor. For ¥800, you can get access to the floating Garden Observatory, and enjoy the view and breeze from up there. There was a bit of queue getting up to the floating Garden Observatory, but it was orderly, just like everything else in Japan. We started with the indoor observatory before we able to access the outdoor rooftop observatory area. It was cold out there and the whole deck was illuminated with UV lights that created a galaxy light walk way all around. However, the UV lights also made it really bad for selfie or any sort as pictures with person came out awful without the flash and washed out background with the flash. Anyway, Osaka is very pretty at night and it was great to have seen it from the top…
