Puran B is the Japanese name for Plan B, part of the BIG Group of restaurants opened in the busy shopping center of One Utama. Located inside Isetan, this cafe is a really small outfit compared to the other Plan B outlets at Bangsar Village and Publika. With very limited tables available, I was lucky to have found myself a table during lunch time last Saturday, partly also thanks to the fasting month which begun on that day itself. The menu is similar to the normal Plan B outlets, no extra Japanese flavour added to their menu. I still found my favourite Asian Style Soft Shell Crab Pasta in the menu, I should come by next time just to get my creamy craving fixed on and off here.

Since I went there for quick brunch before my facial appointment, so I ordered the Eggs Benedict (RM14++), cause I always love the poached eggs over bacon and buttered toasted English muffin, topped with Hollandaise sauce. One of these days I must learn how to make perfect poached eggs! I also ordered hash brown (RM4+) as side cause I was afraid that I didn’t feed myself well. The food was good, my hash brown was fried into crispy golden perfection, and my poached eggs were unblemished with the egg yolk flowing over the English muffins and bacon. I do like to eat my eggs with Chili sauce so I’d added lots of Heinz Chili sauce to the plate. 

I was very happy with my brunch that day, hopefully I could say the same to the other food on their menu when I return to check out other food next time…
