Bali is also famous for its terrace paddy fields around the island. As rice is the main sauce of carbohydrate and staple food in Asia, Bali is also growing its rice on its volcanic soil which is extremely fertile for paddy. I couldn’t remember the last time I got so close up with paddy fields but it was quite a fantastic view looking out to the vast paddy fields covering mother earth.
