The Sacred Pathway of Ming Tomb (古神道) is the gateway to the 13 Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty (明十三陵), which is located at some 50 kilometers due north of urban Beijing. It is a beautiful and quiet pathway filled with willows and stone statues along the way. The stone statues are known as the “Guards”, a set of 12 animals and 6 generals/officer, showing the way to the Ming’s Tomb.
It was nice to get out of the urban city and get to breath some fresh air near the mountains. By the way, the entrance ticket is RMB30 per pax.
