Inspired by Latin dance and music, Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routines, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body.
I’ve tried my first Zumba class today at California Fitness and I almost died of shortness of breath. Anyway, I loved the sweaty sensation that it brought cause my whole body was literally sweating, inside out no kidding. I think I’ll stick to the Zumba class for my cardio workout for now. My mind is all set now for that KICK-ASS bod~!
