Ladurée Macarons is a old French luxury bakery and sweets maker house established in 1862, best known for its double-decker macaron, with over fifteen thousand of which are sold every day. We went to the Champs-Élysées outlet which is a pastry shop as well as a tea room.
We only interested in their macarons so we joined the extremely long queue (see picture below). Though the queue was long, but it was quite organized and we got our box of 8 macarons for €15.20 in about 20 minutes. I have to say their macarons are pretty good, expensive but good. The different fillings were very tasty and the crunchy texture made them extremely addictive. I wished I bought more of them and not share it with other people 🙂
So tell me your favourite place for macarons, wherever you are…
