London Eye the giant Ferris Wheel is one o the most iconic modern landmarks in London. The closest Tube station to the site is Waterloo Station and then 5 minutes walk away. Since it wasn’t covered by the London Pass, we had to pay £21.20 each for a ticket to get up the Ferris Wheel. I had a small mishap ordering the ticket online the day before whereby the confirmation ticket didn’t show up until later after my intended visit time. So I had to buy another set of ticket over the counter and requested for refund for my online tickets. Thankfully the British are very efficient and I got my money back to my credit card within 2 days.
Anyway, the small unpleasant incident did not tamper our mood for the 30-minutes ride up the London Eye. The capsule was large and spacious, we had ample of space to move around and take selfie/wefie. The views up there were magnificent, especially of the Westminster side of London on a sunny morning when we were there. When our capsule finished its round and hit the ground again, I wished that I could go another round. A definitely must see and visit for any 1st time visitor to London~!
