Samgyetang a.k.a Ginseng Chicken Soup (蔘鷄湯/参鶏湯) is one of the signature Korean dishes. Right after the Nanta show in Myeongdong, we went to get our stomach filled at this restaurant, Baekje Samgyetang (百濟蔘雞湯) located in the 1st floor on Myeongdong Street No. 2. For KRW18,000 (about MYR50), we got ourselves a pot of Ginseng Chicken Soup stuffed with glutinous rice and filled with ginseng flavour. We also ordered another plate of chicken stir fried with Korean chili sauce but it didn’t taste as good (too bone-ny to my taste). The herbs filled Ginseng Chicken Soup made us feel warmer in the Autumn weather in Seoul. Well at last I could say I’d tried the authentic Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup.
