The last night we spent in Macau, we went for one last Portuguese meal in Senado Square. We picked the nice courtyard restaurant, Restaurante Platao (九如坊). The price were quite expensive as average dish was around HKD120 and the portion was quite small. We spent about HKD750 for 6 dishes. The service was okay as the dinner crowd had not arrived as early as we did. The food was the best so far in Macau despite the steep price tag. We loved the baked duck rice the most, as well as their signature dessert, Biscuit Mousse (木糠布甸). If you don’t mind to splurge once a while, this restaurant is good place to get some really nice food.
