Yong He Gong (雍和宫), also known as the Lama Temple is one of the prominet temples in Beijing. It is the home to a 18-metre high Buddha in Wan Fu Pavilion, which was carved from a single piece of sandalwood. I saw a lot of people was burning insense & praying to the Buddhas around the temple. I wasn’t into all those stuff so I just took a quick walk around the temple and checked this place out of my ‘To-Go’ list.
