Food for Thought 124 – Michelangelo’s

At a birthday boy’s request, a gang of us went to try out Michelangelo’s at Soho KL a.k.a. Solaris Mont Kiara. The outlet’s design and ambiance was casual yet elegant. However, due to the large crowd which was mostly due to UOB’s credit card 50% promotion, we were forced to wait for more than half an hour before we were seated. Soon after we’ve ordered, the food was served pretty fast, perhaps we were among the last table to order at around 9.45pm (the restaurant closes at 11pm). Anyway, the food was good except for my spaghetti carbonara which is way too oily even for a pasta lover like me. Although I had only a few small bites, I loved the spaghetti marinara and the lamb rack that my friends were having. With all the good foods, gossips and laughters, we ended the night with 2 jugs of beers. I think I’ll give this place a 2nd try even without the 50% promotions.
