Tate Modern is just next to the Shakespeare’s Globe and admission was free. We got free multimedia guide from our London Pass which was usually charged £4.00, and apparently the multimedia guide was award winning due to its design and interactive interface, which made our tour a very informative one. Tate Modern is a modern art museum created in 2000 in the disused Bankside Power Plant. The collections in Tate Modern consist of works of international modern and contemporary art dating from 1900 until today. I had great fun browsing through the vast collections of art pieces there and saw my 1st and few other Picasso’s work there. It was quite a refreshing experience breaking apart from all the old medieval histories that London holds, and to experience the slightly modern side of the city has to offer. I only wish I had more time to explore this amazing art museum in detail.Perhaps I will return one day…
