After leaving Kyoto, we took the train to Osaka and checked into Hearton Hotel Nishi Umeda (ハートンホテル西梅田) which we used as our base to move around for 3 nights. It was quite reasonaby priced for 3 nights 3 person for a total of ¥40,953 (about RM1,460). The hotel was perfectly located next to JR Osaka Station, a mere 3 mins walk from Sakurabashi Exit of JR Osaka Station. The route to the hotel passes through Umesan Kouji, and interesting little mall with all sorts of little shops and restaurants. It is also located near more than 6 subway stations within 5 minutes walk so making getting around Osaka extremely easy.
The room was a lil dated but was clean and comfortable for us 3 girls, and the toilet was functional with the typical Japanese bidet toilet seat. Overall, I loved the location of this hotel as it made the easiest point to get around Osaka and nearby cities. The eat street and convenient shops outside the hotel also very convenient for us to look for food. I’d recommend this hotel as a base for those who want a convenient location to explore Osaka and the nearby cities.
