It was drizzling in Ho Chi Minh as we started walking around town, so we decided to take a coffee break at a nearby cafe. Emporio Armani Caffè at Vincom Center caught our eyes cause I don’t think we had that back home. Well the cafe is part of Emporio Armani Group, combining both fashion and food right next to each other. We didn’t check out the fashion store but headed straight to the cafe for drinks. I wanted to order another Vietnamese coffee but decided to go for a Vietnamese beer, Saigon Special (VND66,000) instead. The price wasn’t cheap though but the ambiance was soothing probably because it was after lunch hour and the rain outside made us felt lazier. I couldn’t quite remember how the beer tasted but anyway I’m not a beer person. I just wanted to try the local beer and guessed it didn’t make a lasting impression on me….
