Food For Thought 195 – Fierce Curry House @ Bangsar

This is my current favourite place for Biryani rice, Fierce Curry House at Bangsar. Thanks to dealmates, I got to buy 2 Hyderabad dum biryani rice for RM20 instead of RM36. The Biryani rice is ready daily at 12pm and reservation is encouraged to avoid disappointment. The traditional dum technique is used here, a procedure which involves dough being
wrapped around the rim to retain moisture during the steaming process, hence more works are involved which justify the expensive price tag (i.e. RM18 per portion).
As my mutton biryani being pack to take away, I could see the details packaging that Fierce Curry House had put in to ensure their customers would have the best taste of the food. My mutton biryani was still hot when I reached home with the curry and other condiments packed separately to avoid messy spill over after all the traveling. I absolutely love the extremely moist biryani rice wrapped with thick curry and nicely blended with generous servings of tender mutton cooked to perfection. This is definitely my new found addiction recently~!
