Another of my favourite food in the Chatuchak Weekend Market is the Hainanese Chicken Rice, some might call it steamed white chicken rice. Located somewhere in Section 16-20 facing Section 4 along the main alley, this small chicken rice stall must have been around for a very long time every since I first came to Bangkok in 2006 cause almost everytime I came to Chatuchak Weekend Market, I’d have a quickie bite at this stall. The service was fast as people come and go quickly just to get a quick bite before dashing out to shop again. The food portion was small but the price was cheap (I think it was about THB30 each for the chicken rice). The chili sauce was nice and spicy too I’d always wish that Malaysian Hainanese Chicken Rice would have a chili sauce like this. Coupled with a fried spring rolls and lots of chili, I had another simple yet good food experience in Bangkok.
