Being first time in Bali there are few tourist hot spots which included this restaurant in Ubud, Warung Ibu Oka for its apparently famous Babi Guling/suckling pig. It was a small restaurant situated across the Ubud Palace, clean and always filled with tourists. We didn’t wait long for our table and quickly settled in for some good pork rice. Service was alright although few reminders needed to get all our food. For IDR33,000 (RM10.90), we got ourselves a plate of rice with shredded pork and crispy pork skin covered in sauces. It tasted much like our Malaysia roast pork rice except for the sauce and chili that set it apart. It wasn’t as fingers licking good as I’d imagined earlier but still it was a decent lunch. But for the price, I think it’s a little expensive and we could easily find better value roast pork rice in Malaysia. ^o^
