Food For Thought 171 – Xin Chun Seafood Steamboat Restaurant At Kota Damansara (新村海鲜火锅)

Not too far from my house is the cluster of restaurants nested in Dataran Sunway, which is quite convenient for me. Apart from Super Kitchen Chili Pan Mee, this steamboat restaurant is another of my frequent visit restaurant whenever I crave for steamboat and seafood. For RM15.50 per pax, one set comes with fresh fish ball, prawns, dumpling, fish  meat, pork ball, tofu skin, vegetable, egg,
noodle etc, which can be cooked in clear soup or Tom Yam soup, Pulau Ketam styled. I especially like their steamboat ingredients which are mainly freshly made, from the fish balls to dumplings. I also like to order a small plate seafood tofu (fried tofu stuffed with seafood) which usually serves as appetizer while waiting for the food to be ready to serve in boiling soup. Apart from the fresh seafood, I also love the chili/sambal that is served at the side for you to dip your food in. For avid chili lover like me, usually I’d consumed more than a small bowl of chili/sambal on my own.
In short, for average RM20 per person, one easily can get a stomach full of seafood steamboat with no fuss.  ^o^
