The old Umaiya is gone now from the place they started in Damansara Perdana, now being replaced by Maiu, the new Japanese restaurant. The restaurant now is offering All You Can Eat Ala-carte Japanese Buffet for RM38.80+ (RM42.50 Nett) per person for lunch and dinner. The selection are not that great (no unagi and limited choices of sashimi), but for that price it’s definitely worth to give this place a run for your money. We ordered way too many sashimi and maki sushi for 4 person. I particularly loved the softshell crab maki cause it was so crunchy. Hopefully this buffet will last for a little longer for me to try a few more times.
