The Big Group’s latest venture, Ben’s Independent Grocer @ Publika reopened last Friday after almost a week off to fine tune stuff following its trial opening in October. I dropped by on Saturday after lunch at the Eat Food Village at the other end of Publika. I was amazed by the vast variety of groceries available at this place, mostly not available in your average grocery. Their concept is definitely refreshing with a classic black themed setup. It has a new branch of Ben’s General Food Store inside the supermarket, a very yummy looking pastries corner, a cute ‘non-halal’ meat corner, as well as and soon a Plan B coffee bar, a chocolate cafe, a
cake section & a porky deli all under the same roof! I’d definitely come back to shop at this place again for their large selection of organic food and some other premium groceries at quite reasonable price.
