Beijing National Stadium (北京国家体育场), also known as the “Bird’s Nest” (鸟巢) is the world’s largest steel structure which cost USD423 million. Meanwhile, The Beijing National Aquatics Center (北京国家游泳中心), also known as the Water Cube (水立方), was built alongside the Beijing National Stadium. These two buildings are simply breathtaking and marvelous. Although we couldn’t enter the buildings due to preparation of Paralympic 2008, we managed to snap some good pictures of these two most talked about places of Beijing Olympic 2008. Perhaps one day I could watch a concert inside the Beijing National Stadium…
