We did a full day islands hopping tour on day 4 of our Phuket trip with tour booked from our hotel, the Phuket Island Hopper. We paid THB2,650 (half day tour price) but got upgraded for free to a full day deluxe tour in speedboat. Hotel transfer was provided and we got picked up at 8am. After about an hour ride to the other side of the island away from Patong beach, we reached the gathering point of tours. There were different tours all departing from the same gathering point, some were half day tours and some were all day tours. 

Our group was about 20 pax, less crowded than the average tour group
which was just what we were looking for. Our tour guide was fluent in
English, and he was very attentive.

After over an hour choppy speed boat
ride, we finally reached our first destination was Koh Yung (Mosquito Island) near the Bamboo Island, where we did our
45 minutes snorkeling in the clear blue sea. I struggled a little at
the beginning with snorkeling gear but I had some really good time after
getting the hang of it. Although there was not much of fish and reefs
around, but the water was so clear and cool I just wished that I had more time in the water. Time passes so quickly, soon we’d been called out of the water and headed towards the next island, the Bamboo island….
